The Singing Seagull is located on the West Coast of Velddrif on the banks of the Great Berg River. It is within walking distance of the restaurants at the main Marina, and very close to the beaches and business amenities of Laaiplek.

The Singing Seagull has 2 units. The first unit sleeps 2 guests, and the second unit sleeps 4 guests. The units are usually rented separately, but can be rented together as the ideal getaway for a small family or a group of friends.

UNIT 1:

Unit 1 is located on the top floor, and is fully equipped for self-catering. It accommodates 4 guests.

It is a two-bedroom unit with a private entrance.

The main bedroom has a double bed and air-conditioning. The other bedroom has 1 double bed (or 2 single beds if requested in advance). All rooms have ceiling fans and free Wi-Fi.

There is a kitchen with a microwave oven, and a living room with a dining table and a sheltered balcony with chairs. Parking space is available on site and there are also cameras. Towels are provided. The unit can also be shared by 1, 2 or 3 guests during the quiet season. There is a braai area outside. The property is a panhandle against the canal with its own jetty; and is located near the Laaiplek Spar and restaurants. Guests can park their boats at an extra fee.

UNIT 2:

Unit 2 is on the bottom floor on the side of the building, and sleeps 2 guests. This unit offers B & Baccommodation. A complimentary health breakfast is served. It’s an open-plan studio with a private entrance which is perfect for short stay periods.

Limited parking space is available on site and there are also cameras. The facilities are limited, but there is a fridge, microwave oven, kettle, sink, air conditioner and ceiling fan. However, there is no kitchen with an oven or cooking facilities. Full DStv is available. The unit has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. A Weber and outdoor braai area is available upon request. There is also an outdoor sink. Linen and towels are provided. Just bring your own swimming towels.

Free Wi-Fi also available. Overnight guests are welcome. Guests can park their boats at an extra charge on the jetty.
