2. Friday morning, 25 October, we received compliants that a team of three female municipal workers were standing idle instead of clearing sidewalks from weeds.

This was recorded on photos and reported to more senior Municipal supervision and on their response the workers productivity improved.

On such & related issues I remind/request members & ratepayers to use this forum to report and highlight problems noticed so that we can aid in improving service levels.

3. Ter algemene inligting is die volgende Bergrivier Munisipaliteit Raadsvergadering eerskomende Dinsdag 30 Oktober in Piketberg.

4. Our last members meeting had Doctor Willie Cilliers, Chairman of the AHI, and his colleaque, Richard Shumi, Regional Manager, present and they shared insights of their current and future plans and strategies.

From 29 October to 3 November 2018 the AHI hosts a delegation from UNIZO (Business organisation from Belgium) in George to discuss their mutual ways forward.

These Flemish investors bought into the AHI business model and during this conference, application of the funds they are making available, will be discussed.

Some of our committee members will attend and we look forward to exciting feedback.
