Dankie vir u ondersteuning met SAPD se fondsinsameling!

Haai almal,

Ek wil ‘n oomblik neem om my opregte dank uit te spreek teenoor al die individue en organisasies wat mildelik bygedra het tot die fondsinsamelingspogings vir SAPD (Suid-Afrikaanse Polisiediens).

Eerstens het ons ‘n fondsinsamelingsveldtog aangepak vir ‘n Omskakelaar- en batteryprojek, wat later deur die Regering (Nasionale Openbare Werke) behartig is. Hulle het ons meegedeel dat hulle fondse bewillig het om elektrisiteitskwessies in polisiestasies, skole en hospitale aan te spreek. Daarom het ons ons fokus verskuif na ‘n ander dringende saak.

Ons het toe ons aandag gevestig op die sekuriteitskwessie by ons plaaslike polisiestasie, spesifiek die behoefte om ‘n muur daarom te bou. Soos ons egter voortgegaan het met die fondsinsameling, is ons ingelig dat die fondse wat voorheen deur die Regering vir die Omskakelaar en Battery-projek toegeken is, nie meer bestaan nie.

Maar hier is die goeie nuus! Ons het bevestiging ontvang dat Solar Tech Solutions, ‘n lid van ons gemeenskap en die Sakekamer van Velddrif, ‘n aansienlike gedeelte van die projek, insluitend die installasie, ruimhartig geborg het. Boonop het ons meer as genoeg geld ingesamel om die projek te voltooi. Die installasie is geskeduleer om in Desember plaas te vind, en ons sal met Kaptein Borstelmann koördineer om te verseker dat alles glad verloop.

Op ‘n ander noot het die GPF (Groter Polisieforum) aangedui dat hulle nie aan die naweek se fondsinsamelingsgeleentheid gaan deelneem nie. Ek wil egter almal se ondersteuning versoek om die Poeding-verkope die laaste amptelike verkope van 2023 te maak. Ons het sopas woord van SPAR ontvang wat vriendelik 30 x jellie en 12 liter vla vir die geleentheid geborg het.

As ons vorentoe kyk, sal ons ons planne vir volgende jaar se fondsinsamelingsprojekte bespreek. Ek moet egter bieg dat ons pannekoek en poedings sal uitsluit, want dit doen niks goed vir my middellyf nie!
