Bergrivier Tourism launches new travel app

‘n Nuwe reis-toep (app) is ontwikkel en geloods deur Bergrivier Tourisme in die Wes-Kaap, wat ‘n uitgebreide’ one-stop-shop’-reisgids bied vir al die dorpe in die Bergrivier-distrik.

Nomonde Ndlangisa, uitvoerende hoof van Bergrivier Toerisme, sê die toep dien as ‘n reisgids met lyste van al die beskikbare toerismeprodukte en -dienste in elke dorp-met kategorieë soos waar om te eet, waar om te bly, wat om te doen, plekke om te sien , waar om te shop, en feeste. “Al die besighede en dienste wat gelys word, word gratis gedoen,” sê Ndlangisa.

Die toep bevat ook besighede wat nie toerisme is nie en wat komplimentêre dienste in elke stad bied, wat reisigers tydens hul besoek kan benodig, asook inligting oor nooddienste. Besighede word uitgenooi om hul besighede op die toep te lys en te adverteer vir blootstelling.

Die toep, wat beskikbaar is via die toep store vir beide Android en IOS, is befonds deur die kantoor van die uitvoerende burgemeester van Bergrivier, Ray van Rooy.

Van Rooy sê hy en Bergrivier Tourisme is passievol daaroor om die besighede en gemeenskap toeps in die streek te help, en wou hierdie platform skep om hul inkomste verder te verhoog deur toerisme, terwyl dit ook reisigers help met maklike toegang tot die vele wonderlike plekke, eetplekke, produkte en dienste tot hul beskikking.

“Ek is opgewonde oor hierdie nuwe Bergrivier-toep. Dit is ‘n uitstekende manier om te verseker dat ons produkte en dienste die nodige promosie en blootstelling aan hul potensiële kliënte kry. Dit bied ‘n broodnodige bemarking platform vir ons klein ondernemings,” sê Van Rooy.
