Vice Chairman

I was born in Namibia, and currently lives on a farm near Aurora.

I’m also the secretary of RNFW (Redelinghuys Neighbourhood Farm Watch) and on my children’s School PAC (Parent Advisory Committee) I’m also very reliable, honest and well organized.

I like to stay busy and help our community where possible.

Monté van der Westhuizen is a people’s person who is always ready to listen to others. His big heartedness is reflected in his strong belief in exceptional service delivery underwritten by his vast experience and wisdom also reflected in how he interacts and fits into his community. Wisdom and integrity is part of his make-up.

In his business, Moncor Electrical, he strives to be available 24/7 to resolve any challenges and is not shy to admit to any mistake accepting accountability for all his actions. His caring attitude for colleagues and workers is reflected in the recognition he provides to them. A busybody he is, believing that as long as the sun is shining, work needs to be done!

I attended school in Cape Town and later in Germany. I successfully acquired my Financial Advisory Certificate in Germany, and thereafter worked for Deutsche Vermoegensberatung AG, a leading European Financial Services company for 19 years, both as a Financial Advisor as well as Branch Manager.

Upon my return to South Africa, I earned my National Wealth Management Certificate and joined a top-performing Liberty Life Entrepreneur Division, where I enjoyed a successful career for almost 9 years.

After completing my Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning, I realized that my career was more about giving advice than a one-side product sale. The logical step was that I then joined an Independent Brokerage in April 2016, which was subsequently acquired by EFFICIENT WEALTH. In September 2016 there were further changes culminating in me heading my own Business Unit “Trilogy Wealth (Pty) Ltd” within EFFICIENT WEALTH as Business Executive.

I feel passionately about long-term relationship building and the successful creation of real wealth for my clients, whilst simultaneously protecting them and their dependents against unforeseen circumstances.

In my free time, I enjoy staying fit, travelling as well as hiking. I am also Charter Member and Past Treasurer of the Rotary Club Noon Gun Cape Town and I represent the Cape Regional Chamber of Commerce as Non-Executive Director on their Board of Directors.

Seize the day! Every challenge is an opportunity to succeed. Focus on what matters, and live life to the fullest. Perseverance pays off!!! I do not believe in giving up.

I am a quiet and calm person, but I can put my foot down when I am being stepped on.

Prioritization and planning activities are important to me – I like to work with a “to do” list. I prefer to do things in the easiest manner – tasks should not be overly complicated as this often leads to a dead end and a lack of interest. I believe in “taking the proverbial bull by the horns”. I face my challenges full on, and plan and execute the work to be done. Procrastination is the thief … what is done is done.

I am a single mom of a precious boy whom is my whole life.

It is important for me to succeed because I believe my success will determine my son’s future.

I am a person who will take on any storm in life and will come out the victor. I’m so focused that I believe that I am able to overcome any obstacle – not due to any super power, but because I strongly believe in the Living God

I completed high school in Riebeeck West and then moved to Cape Town. Many years later, after experiencing the Free State, Gauteng, Northern Cape and Limpopo, we returned to live in beautiful Velddrif. Home is where the heart is!

I have a passion for life, having been an entrepreneur for a couple of years now, I also study part time, and obviously being a mom and a wife is what makes me happy. I love to be busy.
